Brian spoke so much about his sons and how proud he was of them. He was also ever so grateful for Linda's love and friendship. Brian was one of 20 first cousins and the third to pass on. He was our historian. He could remember the dates on all our major events: birthdays, weddings, childbirths, deaths. He loved this extended but distant family of ours and simply wanted to be a part of it. He kept track of us for the most part. What will we do without you, Brian?

I am so saddened to hear this. I recall growing up one street over and working on the tobacco farms and high school together. Brian always had an interest in my music projects and came to visit me in DC a few times after I moved there.I got to visit him on occasion when I came north to see family.Im glad I got to see him not too long ago and had frequent conversations on Face Book.I always admired his honesty, intellect and appreciation of music. He will be missed. My thoughts go to Mike, John, Charley and the rest of the family. RIP my Dear Friend

I was so sorry to hear about Brian. He was a wonderful father to his two boys. Linda is a good friend and I know how much she appreciated all the attention he showered on the children, and the care he gave them when they were young. He enjoyed so much talking to everyone and sharing his experiences. He will be missed.
