John C. Sullivan of Columbia, Connecticut, November 29, 1928 – November 12, 2012
John C. Sullivan, 83, of Columbia, husband of Frances (Krupinski) Sullivan, died Monday Nov. 12, 2012 at Regency Heights in Willimantic. He was born Nov. 29, 1928 in Willimantic the son of Raymond and Alice (Cronin) Sullivan. John was a U.S. Navy veteran. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Thomas Matus of Boise, Idaho, daughter Teri Weed and her husband Richard of Broadbrook and two granddaughters, Rachel and Emily Weed of Broadbrook. He was predeceased by granddaughter Nicole Weed. John’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Regency Heights for the compassionate care they provided during the last two years. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday Nov. 16th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with his family receiving friends beginning at 9:30. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Regency Heights Recreation Fund, 595 Valley St. Willimantic, CT. 06226.
